We were invited here by some local people we knew.
While there was an admission fee there was no way of determining whether or not one had paid for admission, unlike at Disneyland. Luckily we were busy working on PokéStops at the time so they paid for our tickets while we were playing.
There was a lot of walking around, and we most likely did not see everything. The wildlife, including the butterflies, were the most interesting thing to see there, other than the plants. They had a butterfly exhibit in a tent with lots of butterflies that one had to avoid stepping on. The volunteers inside there were nice, even though we looked for moths as well.
Available shade was limited so we used sunblock. The natural shade provided by the plants was insufficient. There should probably be more artificial rest areas and/or fans and/or misters. The gift shop had some degree of air conditioning for some quick respites from the heat. But I don't think the gift shop had umbrellas for sale.
The restrooms were fine. There were many.
