We got General assembly tickets for Neil Young on October 11 at the Chelsea.
We got to the valet parking and almost immediately found the elevator right there to the third floor in the west tower.
Thanks to our friends on yelp and their great advice about this venue, we knew all about not leaving without your ticket stub and where the locations of everything was before we got there.
The space is great - we walked across the floor and found ourselves in the second row from the proscenium and the stage. There was enough of a line but people dealt with it well. Most were older Young generation fans.
The ushers were helpful; there were no difficulties in getting information and the bar and the restrooms are convenient.
This was my last standing concert because I'm 65 years old and in pretty good shape but it was difficult: I promised myself to pay full price for a seat vs $100 to stand: Lewis played one hour and Neil Young played almost 3 hours so the concert itself was fantastic just be sure that you are willing to pay the price for a seat because standing can be arduous.
It could be Elton, Lady Gaga, or a deity but no standing!
No one could've pushed me out of my spot because of very accommodating young man spilled his beer on my feet before the show even started so I was stuck to the floor.
We loved this place nonetheless!!
