I struggled with the grading on this hotel. The hotel is a little run down. The first room we got was dirty, someone had smoked in it and the furniture was beat up. The great thing is it was located on the 50th floor but facing the opposite side of strip. We had to change rooms and got a great view of the strip on the 18th floor. The room was much better and smelled great. The furniture was in better shape.
The room has a kitchenette, great if your here more than 4 days. It also has a living room area. The beds sit a little low to the floor but are comfortable if you like a firm bed. They big king size pillows on the bed.
The room has a balcony but they have locked all the sliding glass doors because of previous issues with jumpers.
We ordered room service and it's ok, I got the chicken strip basket with chips. Big pieces so could share with one person. My husband got the BLT with no avocados and he said it was just ok.
Things that I found annoying: there are ) elevators and there is 58 floors. You will wait probably a good 5-10 mins for them to come down. Picking up too many people going to 2nd floor and 6th floor. When it does arrive it goes to 0-60 in less than 30 seconds. So why is it so slow?
The bathroom sink, OMG! If you stay here you will certainly understand.'if you turn the knob the wrong way you will get water all over you and the floor. It's a bowl type since and the faucet sits low to the bowl so it will splash every where. You can not open it full blast or you will be swimming.
Store in lobby, I don't ever think I caught it open. I wanted to get a soda. When I went at 7pm, the girl went to lunch and apparently they close store down for a hour. So next day I tried at 8pm. I closed for lunch until 9pm. Since the Palm Place has no casino in it, you will need to go down to The palms next door. Too far for a soda.
