  • Arrogant owner/manager whatever he is. This is our 2nd visit. 1st went somewhat ok food was very good except waitress was abit lost and spilled water on me and it was an empty restaurant. But its our second visit that was a "never coming here again experience". We went in the resto part, no one paid attention to us while we waited to be seated. So i finally flag down a waitress, asked her to be seated outside on their terrasse. She took me over to a table outside and said she'd be back with water and cutlery. We waited and waited...nothing..15 min pass no one came. We saw the owner from far and nope nothing. So we decided to leave but i had to tell the owner that we've been waiting and waiting . When he saw me he tells me downright condescending without waiting for me to explain that i have to first come in before sitting outside. I told him "excuse me but i did come in" (im not an idiot as your making me out to be) "and your again lost waitress seated me outside and told us she'd be back but never came back." Arrogantly again interrupting me and not apologizing tells me "its like a cafeteria here you order than you sit" i said fine i understand now but how a my supposed to know that when the waitress clearly didn't explain that to me. Still nope no apology tells me to sit and he ll get a waitress immediately to our table. Oh ya sure im going to eat at your restaurant told him "ca va aller" bye bye! Yes he's french but i spoke french..... and fyi the first time we went we were served at the table NOT A CAFETERIA STYLE THEN HMMM HOW COME the change.... When you get service like that regardless of the food you take your money elsewhere and we did. Dissaponting because it was going to be our regular place since its so near to us. (Yes their side viennoiserie take out counter is good but hey we're in Montreal we know where to get good croissants and not as pricey)
