| - I called to see if I could place myself on a waiting list. When asked what my symptoms were, I explained pressure behind left eye, headache, and nausea due to severe headache. I was told by the receptionist that she didn't think they "treated" that "kind of thing" there, but would ask the doctor. I assured her I thought it was a sinus infection, but she came back stating the doctor instructed me to go to the ER, get a CT scan, and see an ophthalmologist. Again, I said I believe it is a sinus infection, but was still instructed to go to the emergency room. Being triaged over the phone and denying patients is a poor business practice in my eyes. I went to another urgent care, 20 minutes away from home, to be told I did indeed have a sinus infection and was sent home with an antibiotic. I would love to go to a closer urgent care, if I ever need to again. However would be very uneasy about the quality of "healthcare" I would receive there.
