  • As a student, I usually resort to the most inexpensive beauty treatments. But the quality at this EWC is definitely worth paying for. I have been to another location, where I had a mediocre experience (pushy front desk, slight discomfort). I also had a nuisance of an ingrown hair to deal with and treat, and so I put off waxing for a couple of months. I was reluctant to return to EWC for my next treatment, but I decided to try another location out just in case. I'm glad I did: It was much more comfortable, the front desk was kind and helpful, and my specialist, Sheena, was the sweetest! She is super professional but also a delight to speak with, we chatted the whole time and I was very very relaxed. I was surprised when she told me it was all done because I had lost track of time and hadn't felt any significant pain, even though she was waxing a sensitive area. And none of it was rushed--time flew, but Sheena did a really great job, and I'm sure that it was the cleanest wax that I have received. Nothing about my experience seemed stiff or franchise-y, and I will definitely be returning regularly!
