| - Trips to this One Stop are generally horrible (Scottsdale is great), so I never have high expectations when stopping in. The only reason I have returned so many times (and didn't rate them one star) was due to their shakes tasting really good... It's not their prices, and it's DEFINITELY not their service.
However, after this last visit (Sunday 4pm) I won't be returning. The staff at this location are so incredibly curt and uninviting that it simply is not worth going anymore. This has always been an issue, and seems to get worse as time goes on.
Neither the tattoo-covered tough guy working the blender, nor the dark haired female working the register bothered saying hello as my friend and I walked in. I can almost understand why, since they were very entrenched in watching the movie "300" at a volume level similar to the title of the film. Don't get me wrong, 300 is a great movie. I wasn't a huge fan of the sequel, but the first film was amazing. However, I'm really not sure work is the correct place to be watching movies.
After they had realized we exist, the brunette reluctantly took our order. Her tone was incredibly rude. After we ordered, she told the tattooed guy to man the blender. Let me tell you he makes a mean smoothie. However, he need coaching in some other areas:
-Appearance: I don't care if you're working at a supplement store, don't wear a cut off tank with the sides wipe open. I want a barrier between my smoothie and your nipples.
-Friendliness: Talking to your customers is important! It keeps them coming back which means they keep spending money. It also keeps them from writing reviews like this. Better yet, doing a somewhat decent job in this area can get you a positive review.
-Turning the TV Down: ????? Do I really need to mention this? Why? I don't want to have to yell my order at your angry friend over here... Please pause 300 for 25 seconds so I can order and pay for my smoothie.
-Several other areas but I think I've said enough.
I am in the service industry so I truly hate to write reviews like this, but seriously - Tempe One Stop, get your business straight. Until you do, I'm going to Nutrashop.
