  • Whether recommended or not, I read all the reviews while waiting for my new patient exam with Dr Tuvel. I arrived early as requested and while waiting completed my paperwork and then hopped onto Yelp to check the place out. As someone with dentist anxieties, it felt like I had walked into a house of horrors. Grumpy dentist, abusive to staff, violating health regulations where I could contract hepatitis, HIV or any number of infections. I realized what a mistake I had made and, 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, asked if Dr Tuvel was here. Receptionist told me no, he's on his way, plus we have to do x-rays first. RED FLAG. I requested my forms back and said I had just read reviews of the office. I asked if she knew why I was leaving, to which she smiled and nodded. And I left. There is something not right about this place. I was the only person in the waiting room. Most dental offices are packed. Dentist "on his way" when an appointment is in progress. And if the rest of it is true? Don't go anywhere near this place.
