THEY MAKE BOBA FRESH IN THE FRONT WINDOW!!!
Not only is this the coolest machine I've ever got to watch right before consuming its output, I recently learned that freshly made boba are much less likely to upset your stomach after eating them. And as I learned from trying their bubble tea, they taste orders of magnitude better than any other boba I've ever had. (I got the purple boba with the Taro milk tea, my dad got one of their smoothies with the crystal boba - he had never had bubble tea before).
I do not understand the low rating of this place. I can only assume one of the following for Toronto and its Yelp reviewers:
-Toronto restaurants game their reviews
-People in Toronto don't know their boba/don't care about it and rate establishments on something else
-Toronto has absurdly good boba and I need to come back and try other places out asap.
This last one is difficult to imagine, but hey, maybe. The upside of this is it's only a few storefronts down from Tasty's Caribbean Restaurant, and you can visit both in one trip like we did.
