  • Love the Workman's Friends for many reasons! I went on Wednesday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were a large group, and we were conveniently sat at the huge table in the back. This was perfect! We had excellent service - speedy drinks arrived and I felt like our server did a great job of moving things along, taking our food order, asking if we wanted more beverages. He was fantastic! I love the atmosphere of the Workman's Friday. It's a little dark, in a good way. I ordered the grilled cheese that came with a cup of tomato bisque. YUM. I also had the Evelyn to drink. The Evelyn is a watermelon tequila with jalepeno. It's spicy and delicious and refreshing. The grilled cheese was good. I liked that it was filling, despite being just a grilled cheese. I will definitely return to the Workman's Friend!
