So I recently partook in Yoga One's "New Student Pass" where you get unlimited yoga for a month's time to get a feel for their classes. I was pleasantly surprised. Really used to my usual yoga routine and studio, so it was nice to mix it up a bit and see how other people practice.
I was a little apprehensive since the studio room is very large and can accommodate a lot of bodies. Even more worried when I saw the little tape marks on the floor to indicate where to place your mat. It does maximize the number of people you can get in the room, but it can also feel like a yoga factory (just a bit). The efficiency at which they can fill the studio up for class is pretty impressive, but if you are a person that values your space, this may not be the studio for you since you can get pretty close to your neighbor the way they have it set up.
The classes I checked out were mostly their morning classes and their instructors are super nice - even more nice are the instructor's assistants (usually two per class) that walk around and help you adjust and get deeper into poses. I came from a studio that was "hands off" so it took a while to get used to people coming over to "nudge" you into the pose.
Impressed with their facilities - lots of places to store your belongings when you get to class and the changing area (at least for the guys) is pretty substantial - it should be with the size classes they have.
Overall a great studio to practice in. For the time being, I will go back to my "home" studio for now, but I wouldn't mind taking a class or two here just to break the monotony of sticking with the same studio.
