| - Fair warning: I am an RN and you do NOT want to be a patient with this practice (Gilbert). While I LOVE Dr. Finley, it is to hard to get past the incompetence and negligence of the support staff and one of the other physicians. I have seen MULTIPLE HIPPA violations after their "complaints" and conversations were easily heard from the waiting room. I could hear the patients name, date of birth, insurance provider AND last four of his social security number, all of his medical problems and then the staff taking turns talking about what a "pain" the patient is. The receptionist has NO business working with the public and has a horrible God complex and also is the start of all the violations. You will NOT get a prescription refill appointment, which is so basic, in under 1 month. If you run out of medication.....too bad. They will REFUSE to fill it to cover you until your appointment, which as you know, many medications cannot be stopped abruptly. I should also mention that this last time it was for migraine medication.....not like it was a controlled substance. I was also told that I had to pay $500 IN ADVANCE for allergy shots, because that was what was "not covered"....even though the total for the shots was only $220 if I paid out of pocket. I have spoke with the pharmacist at Walgreens and they have all but refused to try and deal with this practice at any point any more. I called and asked to speak to an Office Manager, twice, and was told that she does not have a voice mail and all I could do is leave my name and number. Well, if my messages for prescription refills are "lost", I am SURE a complaint isn't going to make it to anyone who can do anything.
So I can save you the grief; I have read this "book"....it doesn't end well. There are far too many other options out there for medical care without the incompetence and negligence.
