| - So, we just moved and this location is my new closest Starbucks which stinks because not only are they less than friendly, they are not very efficient. More often than not there's someone standing around talking and joking around while the orders are piling up. Today was especially fun... I mobile ordered three drinks. Showed up five minutes later and waited at the mobile order pick up counter for 10 minutes. Watched one person work the drive-through, one person make drinks and another person stand around and only work when someone came up to the counter which was about five people the entire time I was there.
After 10 minutes of standing next to the mobile pick up counter and not even having my existence acknowledged, I asked how far behind they were running on mobile orders. They tell me they don't have any mobile orders. That's fine - glitches happen. My issue is that they saw me standing there, knew that I hadn't ordered at the counter, and yet never bothered to ask if I was there for a mobile order and let me know that nothing had come through. Now, if they were extremely busy or everybody was running around trying to fill orders... I could see how that would go unnoticed. But again, it was one person working the drive-through, one person making drinks and another person standing around doing nothing and only working when people ordered at the counter which was about five people in 10 minutes. She spent the rest of her time talking and joking/distracting the other two employees who were actually working.
They offered to make the drinks right then and there but by that point I needed to leave to go pick up kids from school so I just had them issue a refund. I wish I could mobile order from the Starbucks in the Fry's across the street. Much nicer baristas, always get the order right, make an effort to be friendly and welcoming.
