So cool! What a marvel of engineering. And to think, it was built almost a century ago during the great depression. Really makes you think about what can be done if there is a dream and a will to make it reality.
I simply parked near the Arizona side, where it was free, walked down and stood on the top. I didn't do the tour because I've heard it is different from the pre-9/11 tours, and didn't have time, but I will eventually! Also, the new bypass bridge is gorgeous to look at and also a magnificent piece of human ingenuity.
