  • STOP, PUSH THE DIRECTIONS BUTTON, DRIVE HERE NOW! This is a breakfast experience not to be missed. I think I might throw a tent up and stay here for a while and try all their items for the next several days. I ordered the banana/pecan waffles. They were amazing! They were perfectly prepared, fluffy, not doughey, flavorful and not too sweet - definitely gourmet. The menu is diverse with options to satisfy even the pickiest eater. Service was prompt and courteous. Cafe Au Lait was perfect. Can't say enough about this restaurant. We will come here every time we visit Charlotte!
