What an amazing experience. The service is top notch, the view is astounding overlooking the Bellagio Water Show, and the food is par excellence. My family went for dinner on Christmas Eve and everything was just so well done it is difficult to express just how good it was. Firstly the bread that comes is exquisite, there is a compilation of breads with a chive salt and butter and the rolls are hot and fresh and perfect. The salads seemed steep for a side salad but in reality, they are nearly a full meal in themselves and really we did not need a salad and dinner but we did not realize it would be so big. I had the mixed fall vegetable salad and it came with a whole wheel of goat chevre with delicate vegetables in a vinaigrette. My father had the Caesar Salad and Butternut squash soup which were dynamite. My mother had a truffle salad and it was just a touch woodsy for my taste. Where this place really shines though is the steak, oh the glorious steak. I had the mammoth 18 oz bone in ribeye cooked medium rare. For $66 it was an absolute bargain. The meat was so flavorful and tender and perfectly cooked, no gristle and perfect melt in your mouth fat. My father went one bigger and had the 28oz steak and even though he had it cooked to well done it was still tender and juicy. My mother had the Short rib which was a bit over salty but still really good and sweet. The side dishes were also very good, the Brussel sprouts are well worth getting and the gnocchi is so soft and pillowy they are truly heavenly. We also had the macaroni and cheese which was standard fare but good and the potatoes dauphanoise which were just a bit dry and over done.
In all though for the service and truly reasonable price for the amazing meal that you get this place is well worth a visit for some special occasion, indeed I wish that I was rich enough to eat here every night I don't think I could get tired of all of the truly exceptional food and atmosphere that this place provides.
