  • A nice relaxing salon experience for guys overall. Offered me a beverage when I walked in which also included a choice of beer. The salon is well maintained and fairly large. A number of magazines are also available although the wait wasn't very long at all(I had an appointment which I believe is required at these type of professional salons). I was happy in general with the visit except the beard trimming. It was $18 and it wasn't very professional. I was expecting to be lined up with maybe the wax on the upper cheek or maybe a single blade but instead the trimmer was used without any number to line up which isn't very professional especially for $18. I could have used my own trimmer at home and done the same thing. In fact I went home and shaved my upper cheek and neck area myself afterwards. I don't mind paying the upper end price for an upper end service but this was a disappointment. The rest of the services were on par that I received- eyebrows and facial. It was relaxing and a friendly conversation with the cosmetologist was nice unlike other place in which they work in dead silence and see you off. I hope they improve their beard styling services or adjust the price accordingly and I will return but meanwhile I may give a different place a shot when I have another event that I will need professional beard care for.
