If I can give this place 6 stars out of 5 I would! This place only serves creme brulee, in more than 10 different flavors. They also have home made ice cream, waffles, coffee, and macarons.
The outside does not have any big flashy signage, if you don't know to come for this place, you'd miss it easily walking past.
Inside is cozy with a hippy decor, 7-8 small tables. The self serve water jug and cute little water glasses is a nice touch.
The owner is from Vancouver, and opened a similar creme brulee store there before moving here (very successful also with lots of raving yelp reviews). I can attest to those excellent reviews as Vancouver was my first encounter with his creme brulee. Instant love!
We had the London fog and salted caramel. Both were fantastic. I personally like the salted caramel better. Very smooth and creamy. The top layer crunch is just right. The owner pre makes the creme and makes the top crunch part right in front of you with a hand held flame thingy. Quite mesmerizing to watch.
Opened recently, and already constant lines on the Friday afternoon I went.
What a deliciously unique addition to Toronto.
