I waited to be seated as the sign directed, but I waited far too long and was never acknowledged. I had to flag someone down. Once seated at the counter, no one came to offer me a drink and the three chefs ignored me. A young man sat down two seats to my right and was immediately given water and tea and asked if he was ready to order. He was not and I waited and waited and had to let someone know I was ready to order. I had the ahi poki and seaweed salad which were both drenched in soy sauce. I would have preferred to pour the amount of soy sauce I wanted myself. It made it appear they were trying to hide the color of the tuna, just saying. Although the food was passing good, the only memory I came away with was the rude and unwelcoming behavior of the staff.
