My friends and I came here late night about 9pm just for apps and desserts. We weren't hungry, but thought we should have something. We ordered the beef tartare and fried calamari. The tartare was typical, but there was some gaminess to it that came back to haunt me in the middle of the night. It was served with crostini, but I liked it better with baguette which you need to request. I also spread a little butter on each bite to give it more richness and stave off the gaminess. My friends liked the calamari which was lightly-battered and perfectly cooked. Portion was small for the price. These are rings from large squids not the tiny ones, so no legs if you're into that like me . Desserts were priced reasonably and tasted amazing. One friend had the vanilla Creme Brûlée, I convinced another to have the Profiteroles (small puffs filled with vanilla ice cream in a pool of chocolate sauce), and I had the Butterscotch Mi-Cuit which was a butterscotch soufflé served with butterscotch ice cream and caramel with an almond cookie. We would return just for the desserts.
