Came into Death in Venice on a weekday afternoon around 3pm. Noticed it had a nice and chill space to grab a coffee and snack with a friend or even with a group of friends since space was pretty big. They also sell merchandise along the walls such as jarred items, crackers, coffee and tea items. They also have a chalk wall of food menu ranging from Pizza to greens, to protein bowls, to brunch items to sandwiches. They also have TiTo Rons remixed filipino desserts and steam box dumplings. What don't they have?
I got the iced latte and one scoop of their masala tiramisu gelato. Iced latte was delicious enough not to have to add syrup which I always find I need to. The tiramisu gelati was was pretty good but not the best I've had, wouldve been better if there were pieces of soaked lady fingers of some sort cause I like the texture it just reminds me of the real thing. I will buy a bag of the steam box dumplings and write a review of that after I've tried it. I will definitely come back to try more I noticed a small menu for the empanadas ranging from $3 to $4.
