  • This spot has been consistently good to me and my family. Portions are huge. Service always comes with a smile. The locals who come here are so sweet. Everyone is so nice. This past week when we last visited, our waiter was excellent. I'm just sorry that I didn't catch his name. Anyway, not only did he make some great suggestions and provide us with great service but he also did a wonderful job at making sure that we had everything that we needed for our daughter to be able to enjoy her dining experience as well. He bought out extra napkins, a few spoons, water without any ice, etc. This spot gets pretty full. I have come in the middle of the week and on weekends. It has always been busy and there has almost always been a short wait. The longest that I have waited is about 15 minutes. The menu is extensive and I'd suggest that you take a peek at it while you are waiting. The fact that I can always upgrade my pancakes to a speciality one for such a tiny cost, I have beeb meaning to try more and more of them. This time around I had their strawberry pancake. I know it sounds super basic and I guess you could say that it is but damn was it good!! Our eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. Everything was so delicious. You can tell it's a real family spot. Others dining in the restaurant are all so friendly, waving at other people's children and saying hi and what not. My daughter got a bit restless and wanted to take a lap around the restaurant, no problem. She did and waved at almost everyone there if she didn't give them all high fives or fist bumps. What can I say? She's SUPER social! Anyway, they were all friendly and returned the gesture. Some asked her how old she was, what her name was, etc. To me, aside from the good food and the great service, having the best customers with awesome attitudes is what makes the restaurant a real gem.
