  • Buyers/Sellers/Renters beware!!! If you are looking for a property manager I can't imagine anyone being worse than Jessica. We lived in a home that she was the property manager of for a year and a half. I honestly do not know where to begin to list all of the issues we had with her. When we first moved into the home there was some minor work that needed to be done. The home we were living in was absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. When I listed on the property condition report the few items that were a little less than perfect I was replied to with a ton of attitude. She stated that the home was in perfect shape and she just couldn't believe anything that I had stated. I followed it up with photos to support everything I listed. After a few weeks she decided to address the situation and have a few things fixed including a crack in the foundation. She scheduled a repair team to come out with out asking us for a day or time. Imagine my surprise when a total stranger is knocking at the door telling me he wanted access to my home. When I called Jessica to explain the situation and that I had sent the gentleman away since I had no warning or heads up from her she was not happy. I figured I was doing her a favor since I hadn't heard anything and wasn't sure the work/price was agreed upon, but that's not the way it felt. She makes everything you ask for or need seem like a huge inconvenience to her. A few months in the ice maker on the freezer broke. I called her to get it fixed and once again more attitude. She told me it wasn't an urgent issue and that she would get to it when she could. A few weeks later with still no reply or repair I emailed her again. She told me that since it was not a habitability item they were not even liable to fix it. Then I got more attitude again because she allegedly sent out a repair man for an estimate 3 weeks prior. I told her she never mentioned that to me (once again sent a repair guy out with out any communication) and that no one had showed up to look at it. Once again she scalded me for not letting her know no one had contacted me. How was I suppose to know someone was even supposed to be coming out of she doesn't tell me? Then instead of actually sending someone out she tells me this...More than likely the freezer needs to be defrosted and it will free up the mechanics of the maker. In order to do that, you would have to take everything from one fridge and freezer and move it to the other, loosen the legs and pull out the fridge and unplug it. Leave it overnight with the doors open, plug it back in, push it back, lock the legs down, give it a little while to get cold and move the stuff back over to the fridge and freezer. Repeat for the other one. Seriously? Finally 2 months later someone came out and fixed the ice maker. 2 months!? Really!? A few months later I let her know there was a pigeon problem at the house. They were landing on the upstairs window ledges and pooping all over the house. Pigeon poop if not removed quickly will definitely leave stains. Knowing how slow she was to handle any problems I went ahead and got her a quote from a company to have the pigeons removed and the poop cleaned. To no surprise rather than taking care of the issue she tells me pigeon season is over in a month or two and they will just naturally go away. Seriously? I felt like I was in the move The Birds every time I walked into the house. The problem was never addressed or fixed. Last but not least...we had to break our lease that we had recently renewed. I emailed Jessica asking her to contact me and 5 weeks went by with no response. She told me it was a huge burden to have to deal with. We had good reason to have to break our lease and all she cared about was the extra work for her. Work she is paid to do as a property manager. Here we are 2 months gone and she still won't help switch the alarm into the new owners names. She said it's not her job and she was not involved. I have multiple emails from her about us having to put the alarm in our names and that she would have it switched out of our names when we moved out. Not at all the case. She is refusing to help so let me help you...DO NOT USE Jessica for any real estate needs. She will definitely disappoint.
