| - By the time my boyfriend and I went to Wicked Spoon for dinner, we were pretty much sick of eating at buffets. I am so glad we went anyway, because we had a pretty spectacular experience.
Money-saving tip: I knew I wanted to try this buffet before leaving for my trip, as a friend who lives in Vegas had raved about it. So I found a buy one-get one free coupon on eBay for $5, which was totally worth it, because it ends up saving $38 if you go for dinner.
The ambiance is beautiful here. The décor and style of the Cosmopolitan overall is breathtaking. I saw a concert at the Chelsea last year, and fell in love on the spot. Walking through the lobby and watching the LCD (or projection) screens on the columns and walls magically turn into a giant library? Incredible! Wicked Spoon is just as beautiful as the rest of the casino and hotel.
The service was fantastic! We arrived at around 4:50 p.m., and they didn't open until 5 p.m. There were already a ton of people waiting. But the restaurant is very roomy, so we were seated right at 5 p.m. despite the long line.
The food presentation is beautiful! It would be impossible to try everything, but I wish I could have, because everything was so pretty. Of course I had to try the bone marrow on a baguette. It was awesome.
The desserts were the best. I loved the pistachio gelato and chocolate-covered strawberry.
This was definitely the best buffet I've ever been to, and would love to go back on my next trip.
