  • A Brunch Disappointment. We went for brunch on November 12; our disappointment is as follows: 1. Entrees: prime rib was significantly undercooked and tough to chew. Best left for those who like to chew on bloody towels. Tri-tip steak was equally tough and overcooked. "Sushi" was, on my estimate, 80% rice/seaweed, 15% soggy breading, 5% shrimp. The main highlights were the buttery mashed potatoes and dessert crepes - seriously, the mashed potatoes were the best thing there. Much of the other entrees were dry and untouched, largely things that you wouldn't want at a Vegas buffet: spaghetti, penne pasta, mixed vegetables. Crab legs were okay - skinny without significant meat. Other foods like sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles were all bland and just plain boring, as evidenced by their dryness sitting under the heat lamps for hours. My honest opinion is that you could get better quality and variety of food at a Golden Corral. 2. Desserts: flan was too eggy and pudding like, lacked the airy consistency desired in French made flan. Creme brûlée was okay; burnt sugar collapsed with scoop of the spoon and did not break cleanly - likely because it had been sitting. Macaroons taste cheap and have cake frosting filling. My honest opinion is that you should just go to McDonalds and get a McFlurry. 3. Ambiance: Cheap, like a 90's theme park waiting to be renovated. False bricks and dusty old signs leave nothing to be desired, completely unromantic and opposite from the true Paris. Tacky. Furniture is reminiscent of a 90's Perkins. My honest opinion is that you and your date might strike the mood better at a Chuck e Cheese. 4. Price: $30.99 for brunch and bottomless mimosas til 3PM. It's what you expect for this price in Vegas. My honest opinion is that you should spend a little bit more money for a significantly better buffet elsewhere in hotels in the same vicinity. 5. Service: possibly the only redeeming quality of this buffet; the attendants met expectation and removed dirty plates and refilled water/mimosas in a timely manner.
