This is a generic Metro location. It's actually pretty lame with product variety and prices aren't very good. Rarely a good sale. This location definitely caters to the "more money than brains" type of person/family.
A reason to come here is for the dependable quality in the meat/fish section, though the variety issue also flows into these sections. Regardless, it's a good place to get Metro's "Traditionally Raised" pork steaks and roasts, which cost the same as the generic meat (or sometimes less) but actually have a flavour (a good one).
The few times I purchased fruit from this location were disappointing. Their lettuce seems to be okay--if you can find one that isn't limp and rubbery, anyway.
The Metro at VP and Danforth Ave is definitely better, if not the best one in the city.
