The first time we visited Rolled Ice Cream was on a Saturday night. The line was crazy long and was not moving at all. So we left and decided to try again on a weekday. This time the line was cut in half and although it was moving slowly, we decided to stay since we may never have the chance again.
The experience was enjoyable. It was fun watching the ice cream being poured, mixed, rolled and placed into the cup. The employee who made our order was very friendly and made conversation with us while he was working. I had the Raspberry White Chocolate, which wasn't the greatest. There were way too many white chocolate pieces! I would have been fine with half the amount. The texture was light, but it was kind of disappointing that the ice cream didn't taste as good as it looked. Tried a bite of the Cookies n' Cream that my husband ordered and it tasted a lot better than mine. I love Cookies n' Cream, and of course the one time I try to be more fancy with my ice cream it doesn't turn out good.
Definitely not my preferred spot for ice cream, but I wouldn't mind coming back and trying other flavors on a day that they are not ridiculously busy. Another thing I didn't like about this place was how dirty it was. Toppings and blobs of melted ice cream was all over the place, so watch your step! Cleaning this place must be a real hassle!
