My wife was searching the 'net looking for a Scandinavian restaurant in the valley and found this place so we went. I'm glad they are close by. The menu has SO MANY CHOICES. Also a nice selection of imported beers that are hard to come by.
The service is great and they are very knowledgeable about the menu. The pierogies are fantastic! The elk stew is another favorite. The seared Gravlax is another good meal and is generous in size. Not sure where to start? Try a Swedish or Polish sampler plate.
For dessert I highly recommend the Beaver Supreme, Swedish crepes (FANTASTIC), and the lingon berry ice cream.
The only thing I would change? Move them closer to my house by restaurant row on Gilbert Road. I guess it is better for me that they are tucked away in a strip mall with weird stores that people don't go to as I can always get a table right away. Maybe they are best kept as a secret?
