I called East Valley on Sunday, hoping to get a phone call early Monday to discuss a few concern with my A/C unit. To my surprise, Dave picked up the phone and answered my questions. I was expecting him to try to sell me the typical service call. He was honest enough to tell me that he could inspect the unit but there was not a real reason to spend the money. What are the chances of a contractor saying that? I had him on the phone, So I also asked him about installing a smart thermostat. A couple of months, I was thinking about getting an EcoBee, but tech support suggested hiring a professional due to the complexity of my setup (have to run a common wire to the unit). I asked Dave how much would it cost me and the price sounded reasonable. When I asked about an opening in his schedule to install it, he said he could do it the same day. I ran to the store and three hours later I had my EcoBee up and running. To me that is the way a business should build a clientele- outstanding customer service!
