Diclaimer: I'm not a ramen expert since I have not had ramen from Japan. Prior to Monta, I only have Cup O'noodles and Top Ramen Instant Noodles experience. This eatery serves the best ramen I've had in Las Vegas (I've also tried Ramen Sora but did not write a review). The first time I tried Monta was at their Las Vegas location off Spring Mountain 3 years ago. Since then, I have new respect for ramen and visit very often, especially in the cold months of winter (It definitely hits the spot). I've tried all 4 ramen broths (Shoyu,Tonkatsu, Shoyu-Tonkatsu, and Miso) and my favorite is the Shoyu-Tonkatsu with shredded green onion or mustard leaves. The broth is thick, milky and flavorful. The ramen is firm yet tender. During the hot summers, my wife loves the cold noodle with yuzu sauce... just noodles, with a ponzu type (citrus) dressing. My boys 9 and 11 enjoy it very much as well. There are more options down on Spring mountain, but this is an excellent option for those in Henderson.
