Comfort French food is what Le Paradis does. I still enjoy the food after first coming here 15 years ago. The relatively new brunch is excellent and very reasonably priced. At too many T.O. restaurants the noise level is so high it's utterly impossible to have a meaningful conversation with one's dining companions. Not so at Le Paradis. The music here is never intrusive. Ironically, this may be a negative to younger people who seem to prefer deafening noises in restos. Anyway, the food is dependably good. This place is a classic.
