My wife and I stayed at the new "Grand King Room" that was recently remodelled. It was beautiful and clean.
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We visited some other hotels while we were in the area and some of them (not saying names) seemed dirty/old/smelly/dark.
When my wife and I went, it was during election week.. and Vegas was not very 'busy' as it had been when I had gone 4 or 5 years ago. There was no waiting for anything.
The reason I took off 1 star for this hotel is during our last night there, the fire alarm went off for a good 15 minutes at 11pm. since we had an early flight, it was kind of annoying.
I also find it funny that most hotels in Vegas try to get your money through any means possible. No fridge in the room for personal use (unless you ask housekeeping and it is like $35 a night or something?).. the fridge that is there is stocked with drinks.. but don't touch! you move them and you'll have to pay for them.
