  • The food from the Herban Legend food truck is (to me) some of the best food that Charlotte has to offer, including pricy restaurants and my own kitchen. When this food truck rolls around the corner, it's such a happy surprise that the joy almost makes up for the sadness that I can't just go to a specific location at any point in time my belly wants Herban Legend food. The prices are low, the flavor and the quality sky-high. The owner / chef is wonderful - I think he spent some time in the Middle East acquiring culinary skills. At night I still dream of his jerk goat and plantains sometimes, and the chicken shawarma was fantastic too. His website and Twitter account will inform you where the truck can be found. It is definitely worth the effort to find him!
