  • Called on the phone to ask about the tentative (ballpark) price range of a tattoo and to be honest the phone call was ok which is why I felt ok to go to the shop with the hopes of getting a tattoo done. When I arrived to the shop I was greeted by Jerry the owner as well as a young female who was sketching in a sketch book. Small talk was made and everything appeared to have been going ok. I discussed the concept of what I wanted with the girl who was making a stencil and going over my vision. As I was told that it could work, the young girl continued to sketch out a stencil design, now this is when things went sour. Jerry made a point no less than two times to ask for payment, before even seeing the stencil. My friend who was with me wanted to see the stencil to make sure the looks of it was indeed what she and I wanted and this is when Jerry, the owner (in a very unprofessional manner) decided to say that they don't work for free. It was then that I informed him that no one works for free and we were not asking him to work for free. We simply wanted to make sure the stencil and final image was indeed what we had envisioned and something that we not only were going to pay for but more importantly have forever. Jerry continued to be rude and began to argue with my friend and I insisting that no one will do that for us and no one works for free. This was not our first tattoo and the previous experience we had was 100 times better and complete opposite of this. Instead of arguing we decided it would be best to take our business elsewhere and get the tattoos done from a more professional shop with better business ethics, etiquette and most importantly customer service. If your customer service and attitude is lousy I can only imagine how the final product would have been. I can not comment on the ink or tattoo because we clearly did not get them done there; however, I would advise individuals to go to another shop as there are better ones out there. I was also informed that their supplies (a pencil and 1 piece of paper) was costly, as he made a point to inform me of the supplies being used. So lame and unnecessary. Additionally, I would also like to share that even as we were leaving Jerry continued to yell and scream at us behind our backs. Jerry if you read this, for claiming to have 25 years in the business I would have thought your business ethics and customer service would have been better. Shame on you for being so terrible.
