In July 2017 I completed writing my personal injury case for submission to a prospective firm. My case involves a multi-decade automotive product failure in which I was a victim. I discovered a recent automotive product failure case being represented by Dr. Billie-Marie Morrison of Craig P. Kenny & Associates. After reviewing the biography section of Craig P. Kenny and discovering that his career choice was in part influenced by an experience with an attorney that "never returned their phone calls and had absolutely no client service skills", I thought that regardless of the merit of my claim, I would be treated with respect at this firm. Their founder's stated experience, Dr. Morrison's familiarity with similar large-scale suits and her status as a fellow alum, persuaded me to entrust her and this firm with my claim.
On July, 17th 2017 I reached out to Dr. Morrison with a brief outline of my credentials and the extent of my need (review and consideration). Her response was quick and encouraging. Two days later I sent her a 4,700 word summation of my case. The document contained the most personal details of my life.
On July 28th, I emailed a follow-up check on the review. No reply. On August 3rd, I went to the firm to follow up in person. An inquiry made by the front desk assistant while I waited provided no further information on the review during that visit. Dr. Morrison was in court and her assistant was not aware of the discussion surrounding my submission. Prior to leaving I was assured I would be contacted regarding a decision of representation. I was not contacted.
