I literally squealed with excitement when I saw the Trader Joe's sign for this store a few months ago. I didn't realize TJs was coming to my hood, so it was a lovely surprise. I had been making the journey to Summerlin for Trader Joe's, which isn't too far but when you just want some decent cheese and a bottle of cheap wine on a Monday(Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) night, having a TJs close is awesome.
The layout at this location is spacious with enough aisle space for shoppers to browse without being right on top of each other. I appreciate that because I don't enjoy being booty bumped by a cart or having to awkwardly wait for someone to get the heck out of the way(I'm talking to you indecisive cheddar chooser). So, lots of space to shop and dance and think about the happenings in your life(I tend to do this a bit while I'm walking the aisles). All the regular Trader Joe's goodies are stocked and the wine section has its own little area. I'm not going to lie: I spend more time in the wine section than I do anywhere else in the store. No shame.
Employees are really helpful and friendly. Once one of them brought me a basket when they saw me juggling like an idiot(I always think I'm coming in for one thing and end up with an armful) and another time I got to the counter and asked if they had an item while I was being rung up and the cashier went and got it for me in a helpful way, not in a "I hate you, you stupid customer" way. It was nice. I've had pleasant checkout chat with a number of employees here. Friendly employees really do make a shopping experience.
Trader Joe's! Huzzah!
