| - If I was able to give this place more than five stars I would. I made an appointment for my daughter. We showed up to her appointment an hour late due to heavy traffic and getting lost. I called and the person on the phone said no problem, I'll wait, still come in. When I arrived I greeted by a very friendly woman with a big smile named Andy. I hugged her immediately. I felt bad for being sooo late.
When making the appointment; I had "failed" to tell Andy that my daughter is a natural with medium length hair. I knew it was going to take a while to do my daughter's hair. Andy looked at her hair and was like "no problem ". I was hesitant, we have been to several salons since moving here from the east coast and at best our hair has been "ok". But I kept an open mind. When making the appointment I did not intended on getting my hair done. Andy looked at my hair and politely suggested that since I have to wait for my daughter that I should consider getting my hair done too. I was thinking wow this is going to take a long time. We are going to be here for at least 4 hours or more. I am so glad I did, it didn't take long at all for both of us to get a Dominican blowout.
All I have to say is, she went to WORK on my daughter's hair. Her hair is very thick African American hair and it's difficult to manage, but Andy did a wonderful job. Afterwards, my daughter loved her hair. Normally, she will have to pick with her hair a little more to achieve the look that she really wanted. She absolutely loved it. She didn't have to redo or pick with her hair when she got home. This is definitely a first.
I was just as satisfied with my hair as well. Normally I do not wear my hair straight, because it's natural. I usually wear it curly, but I have to admit, I truly love the way Andy did my hair. We will definitely be going back every two weeks. I really wish I would have found Andy when I first moved to Vegas. I have no intention of going to any other stylist. We laughed and had great conversations the whole time. Andy is the best.
The price was very reasonable. I was also given what to expect if we come very 2 weeks, so no surprises there. All i can say is that in the past, I have paid less and hated it. I've also paid double Andy's price and went home and washed my hair. In the end I was satisfied with the price and results. There are so many more great things I can say. I was really impressed. I look forward to our next appointment.
