At first I was skeptical of all the good reviews. How interesting could a mob museum possibly be? But I have to admit, dear yelpers, that I quite enjoyed my visit! There are a TON of exhibits, many with fun interactive elements. (My favorite was the room that showcased different techniques that scammers use to cheat at gambling--very interesting!) Not only does this museum cover the history of the mob but it also discusses a wide range of other topics like prohibition, the formation of Las Vegas, sting operations, conspiracy theories, and even the portrayal of organized crime in popular culture. Be sure to allocate a MINIMUM of three hours for your visit as there is much to see and do here. Also, you might want to leave little ones at home as some of the exhibits are pretty gory. But for everyone else I highly recommend letting the Mob Museum make you can offer you can't refuse!
