  • So I recently became addicted to Vegas and I don't even gamble lol. For my second visit to Vegas we booked Planet Hollywood seeing as it was more central than when I stayed at Treasure Island and the price was also good. Our flight from Toronto arrived into Vegas pretty late. By the time we got to the hotel it was around 11pm. We were with a group of 6 people so when checking in we wanted to stay at least on the same floor. Seeing as it was late check out that was not possible. To speed up the check in process we split up and spoke to 3 different reps at the check in counter. They were extremely friendly and willing to change our rooms the next day so that we were closer together. The person we were speaking with whispered to my wife and I and said you may not want to switch when you see the room you are getting. She did not say much more which left me wondering. She began to hand us over a whole bunch of vouchers for amenities in the hotel along with $15.00 to spend each day at Starbucks. That alone was enough to make me happy especially when we were not complaining about anything. We began to approach the elevator and I looked to see what floor we were on and it said the 52nd floor. My mind began to wonder as to what I was to expect being that high up. Once I was in the elevator I realized that the 52nd floor was the penthouse. My mind began to wonder even further. Once the elevator arrived and the doors opened the hallways were extremely fancy with even black velvet on the walls. Not knowing what to expect we opened the door to our room and there it was. What ever my mind was expecting was not this. First off its not a room its a CONDO lol. I think I will let the pictures do it justice as I cant begin to explain how nice the room was and the view was priceless. Other than the room the hotel itself was pretty big and had everything you need. Many things for entertainment and lots of food choices. The pools were clean and well situated. The cabanas were fair priced and came with unlimited water and fruit. Nice touch. Although I know that if I ever come back to Planet Hollywood I will not have the same experience with the penthouse suite but this experience will make me forever love Planet Hollywood and every time I go to Vegas Planet Hollywood will be the first place that I will look up. Thanks Planet Hollywood for a great experience.
