After a very high expectation to find another great Chinese restaurant from a good restaurant writer who may not know enough about Asian cooking, I was certainly disappointed with this one. They advertised outside (even in Chinese that they had Peking duck that got me really excited but failed to meet all expectations. The Peking duck I expect had five elements, thin pancakes, finely chop scallions (Shredded), crispy skin, and finely chopped breasts, and full service with full assistance in wrapping and it delivered none. It tasted good but not what I expected at all. I've asked for shark fin and fish maw soup and they told me that they were only willing to make two order min (I understood that) so I picked the combo hotpot with tofu. She suggested that I take the seafood with tofu. I was gleefully excited but the dish was filled with nothing but very little seafood and filled with largely retangularly cut tofu (Cheapest way to serve this--this should be bitesize). She immediately knew that she a monumental mistakes and told me that it is to CHEAT FOREIGNERS. Walked out without any thanks and she knows that I will never return again. She was right.
