  • This is a must-visit for us when we visit Madison: summer, winter, snow, sleet, no matter what, we have custard. The turtle sundae is a classic (vanilla custard, hot fudge, hot carmel, roasted pecans), but there are other choices for those who prefer fruit to nuts. Like Culvers, they have a flavor of the day that changes. They also make good fried stuff: cheese, burgers, fries, etc.
