  • What can I say? $25 per night for a clean room, a fridge, and no resort fee? No complaints here. I've stayed at this hotel before, but it's been several years ago. I remember it being a pleasant stay so we decided to stay here again on 12/20. The hotel itself is very basic. If you just want a comfortable place to stay for a few days, this is a good choice. There are only 2 restaurants here. The Triple 7 Brewery which has very good food and a buffet. The buffet had it's heyday in the 90's. I have had it in more recent years and was less than impressed, but it is a decent meal for the price. The Triple 7 Brewery has a very nice selection of food choices from sandwiches, to sushi and everything in between. It's spacious , very affordable and the service here was very good. My only minute gripe..(more like a suggestion) is that their breakfast is only served on their late night menu (I believe it starts at midnight) until 7am. By there only being 2 restaurants in the hotel, they should consider making this 24 hour dining. The bed in our room slept well. I had a good night's rest every night I was there. The bathroom was somewhat small but very functional. The vanity was in a separate area. We had a view of downtown Vegas lights which was a nice touch. There is a small gift shop that has snacks, small souvenirs and liquor. Everything is priced reasonably. A bottle of Korbel Champagne was only $10.99. I am used to paying $13 per bottle so I was pleased with the price. The staff here is nice. The parking is abundant and they have valet parking here if you choose... This is a no frills kind of place, but it works for me and my needs as I am not the type who sits around in a hotel room while I am out in Vegas. I tend to be on the go from early in the day until late in the evening. I would definitely consider staying here again...Likely my next trip because for the money and convenience (nice freeway access, fairly close to the strip), it can't be beat. Also, if you are a Boyd Gaming member, they send you lots of great offers for all of their hotels in Vegas which are: Gold Coast, Sun Coast, Sam's Town, Fremont, California (The Cal), and Main Street Station. There is also a commuter bridge that links to their other hotel (The Cal) and a shuttle that runs from the Cal to their other property, Sam's town which is located on Boulder Highway...Btw...very nice property. I enjoyed my time there. I have not been disappointed with Boyd Gaming yet.
