I came here because I was craving cuernos but was nowhere near LA so I decided to come here. For Yelp purposes I ordered a few items: macaroon, pan dulce, empanada, flan and of course a cuerno. I wasn't impressed with the cuerno, it was bland and not very dense or sweet. It tasted almost like a croissant which wasn't what I was looking for. The macaroon was burnt on the bottom and at $1.25 that's just not okay. It had a good flavor but being burnt wasn't a good look! Everything else was very very good. I loved loved loved the cream empanada. The crust was good and the filling was almost overstuffed! It had no chemical aftertaste and tasted freshly baked. They were a really good buy to me being so big and filled to the brim with cream. I will definitely come back for this alone! The flan very good. It had the perfect texture and enough caramel that wasn't too sweet. I was really happy with the pan dulce (bread with lines?) as well. I'm not sure what it's called but I call it pan dulce and everyone seems to know what I mean so pan dulce it is. It was big and tasted freshly baked.
All in all I was very happy coming here. I kind of expected to get the cold shoulder due to the previous review and I did get that somewhat but I can't compare it to how she greeted anyone else since we were the only customers. I don't expect great customer service in Vegas and the lady wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly either. I was looking around and everything was clean with no random tiny flies flying around. I will definitely come back to try out more items on the menu.
