  • I wouldn't even rate this complex a "1". WORST management staff ever! Let me take you back to our first experience with this complex, which was my first red flag. Day one, move in day, they called my husband to tell him our apartment was ready and we could go pick up the keys to move in. When we arrived at the apartment that day we walked in to an apartment where the cleaning crew hadn't even gone in to clean from the previous tenants. Cleaning crew showed up 15 minutes AFTER we showed up. The whole place was covered in caked on dust and dirt, both bathroom showers and toilets we're filthy and had mold growing in them. The ceiling light fixtures in the master bed and kitchen we're off and sitting in the kitchen sink and on the counter caked in dust. Already frustrated that I had to wait a couple hours for cleaning lady to finish cleaning our apartment. While she was cleaning we were doing a walk through the apartment and we noticed that the apartment was infested with German roaches! For those that aren't familiar with these pests, it only takes ONE egg sack for you to have an infestation because of how fast they mature, reproduce, and the number of eggs that are carried in one sack. Frustrated once again because of the roaches spread throughout the apartment we contacted the office immediately regarding the situation given that we we're having brand new furniture being delivered that day and the last thing we wanted was for our brand new furniture to get infested with the roaches eggs. Of course they were in no hurry to help the situation and said they would schedule an appointment for the exterminator to go in next week. So we had to take matters into our own hands, paid the out of pocket expenses and had an exterminator at our place by that evening. At this point we were already frustrated with our experience on move in day. Now, here we are a year later and our lease was up on 9/15/17. We had signed an "Intent to Renew" for another 12 more months that was submitted to the office. Being that our lease was up Midway through September the office had to prorate us for that month and advised us of the amount, that same day my husband paid the prorated amount they advised us, by money order. October comes around and my husband pays our monthly rent on time on 10/3/17. We make our next month payment for November on time on 11/3/2017. Four days later we received a letter notice on our door dated 11/7/17 stating that we owe $703.98 for late fees and additional month to month rent fees for the months of Sept-Nov and fees will continue to increase by $10 everyday until we pay amount in full. When my husband called them to find out why we received this notice for charges they told him they have tried to contact us by phone and certified mail on numerous occasions however when we asked for copies of proof of the certified mail delivery notices through USPS they were unable to provide copies of such documents or proof. They are very RUDE and REFUSE to work with us and completely disregard the "Intent to renew" form that was signed, and instead they are demanding payment in full for these fees that we were barely notified about on 11/7/17. My husband walked in to the office and hand delivered monthly payments to them over the past three months and they are trying to say that he refused to go in to sign the new lease!! He was in your office THREE times over the past couple months!! When I questioned the "assistant Manager" why we didn't receive a notice in October regarding the outstanding balance of these supposed late fees, according to them they are dating these fees back to September, she (assistant manager) said we weren't sent a notification letter in October One: Because those letters are considered a "Courtesy" and Two: because we paid our bill on time that month, which WAS infact paid on time on 10/3/17. Now for the month of November we also paid our monthly rent ON TIME on 11/3/17 and when I questioned her why we were sent the notice on 11/7/17 regarding these supposed late fee charges she stated we were sent that letter in November because we paid our rent late....BUT WE PAID OUR RENT ON TIME, ON THE 3RD OF EACH MONTH, BOTH MONTHS AND ON THE EXACT SAME DAY!!! At this point, clearly there's some miscommunication, and office management are absolutely REFUSING to work professionally through this matter and disregarding the "Intent to Renew". Since according to the office we are on a month to month lease, and they continue to disregard our "Intent to Renew", After such horrible experiences with this place and the staff we are submitting our 30 day move out notice and will not continue the process of signing a 12 month lease again. I STRONGLY advise against renting here!! Parking is horrible, and staff is very RUDE! All this could've easily been fixed but they refused to find a solution so now they're losing a tenant that would've been a guaranteed 12 month lease renewal tenant.
