| - My daughter has been asking Santa this past week for a Doc McStuffins hospital cart, so I ordered one online to pick up from this location. I had my partner pick it up while I was work. He waited for 1.5 hours in line to pick up the order, which is appalling but possibly expected this time of year.
What was not expected is that they give him completely the wrong toy. They gave him a filthy-dirty lambie!!! When purchasing online they give you a list of stores that supposedly have the item in stock, and available for pick so I'm not sure if there is an issue with their system, or if the employees lack some common sense, ability to read or knowledge of how to scan an item. Personally, I just don't think at $8 an hour the employees really give a s**t what they are doing, or how errors may impact their customers or children getting Christmas gifts. Call me crazy, but I don't think it's too much to ask for the correct toy in new condition.
I have no idea why people shop at Walmart at all. I think we are trained to believe that they have the lowest prices which may be why people deal with the crazy long lines, disorganization, and poor customer service. If you decide to comparison shop though, you can find lower prices on many items at Target and you don't have to put up with all the chaos. There are many other reasons I dislike Walmarts in general, but there are not enough words to express my dislike. I can just say that this experience has solidified my decision to shop elsewhere from now on.
