  • JT Nails used to be my place! They knew me there and I could count on a great pedicure. It was the Cheers of nail salons. I started referring my friends and they loved it too.... Until.... I got a gel mani and since I didn't want to risk damaging my nails by taking it off myself, I went back and paid to have it taken off... To my horror, they sanded a fat ridge into every nail down by the cuticle. It looked terrible! It took 5 months to finally grow out. I could've done a better job myself, with one eye shut, balancing on one foot, drunk. This put me in a state of crushing doubt about whether it's worth the risk to return. In fact, I haven't returned since this happened back in January. In fact, my toenails look like sh!t because I now have nail salon trust issues and haven't had a pedicure in 5 months.
