Very disappointed with this place after my most recent visit. In general, the drinks are WAY overpriced-especially for how inconsistently they are made; and like many other reviews state, the food portions are small.
The drinks were too sweet, reminding me more of the Mai Tais you expect in a place more interested in quantity over quality.
After having a wonderful experience at Hale Pele (a tiki bar in Portland, OR) last week, where the bartenders were experts at their craft and could recommend the perfect cocktail or rum based on how you answered a few questions, I was hopeful that I could have a similar experience here.
It's too bad, it'd be great if Tiki Hideaway could output the quality drinks you should be able to expect from a tiki joint-especially at these price points!
(The drinks were ~$2-3 cheaper at Hale Pele, making the overly sweet drinks and bad service even more insulting).
