| - I had read multiple reviews about this Hyatt that made me feel uncomfortable booking, but I hoped that by the end of my stay I'd be among the positive reviewers. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We checked in and everything was fine. The room was clean, although rather tight, and the staff was kind. We came to find the the pullout bed in our Deluxe Suite was broken. We called concierge, at 3 a.m., to ask if someone could either come fix the issue or if we could get a rollaway bed and were met with an unwilling and rude response. The employee insisted we couldn't get a rollaway bed at that hour, which was beyond ok since it was so late, so we asked If we could have someone come up and help us put the pullout bed back in the couch. The employee that came up was rude and made it clear he would rather be anywhere else. He was unable to fix the issue and said he would send maintenance up in the morning. Maintenance never came so we called down the next day and a different employee put the pullout bed back into the couch, after a significant amount of hassle. We were not offered a room change or any alternative to our broken pullout bed and some of the people in the room had to sleep on the floor.
At the end of our trip, we found our bill was significantly higher than the amount we had initially booked it for. After checking my email for the reservation information, my friend and I spent nearly 40 minutes in the hotel lobby waiting for the front desk to fix the issue. Thankfully, the manager and employee working at the desk that night were helpful and very empathetic. This didn't, however, detract how irritating and inconvenient the situation as a whole was.
Don't book here. We didn't book at the full price, but under a convention fee, and I would still say it wasn't worth it. Look elsewhere.
