I ordered the lunch special here and Okinawan Soba. The spicy tuna and salmon hand rolls were very good. The taste just takes you to another world. The salmon skin hand rolls smelled fishy and tasted fishy on a few bites but then again, this is my first time eating salmon skin so I have no reference point. Don't care to eat it again.
The lunch special came with miso soup and ginger salad, all of which were ordinary. The waitress was not personable but helpful. The sushi chefs were very nice and friendly. The soba was very mediocre. I'm used to going to Udon Soup Houses in New York City's Chinatown where they only make that so the soba here tastes like McDonald's version of soba. I'm sure for Phoenix area, it is decent. lol. Won't be eating that again. Once you eat at a Udon restaurant where they make the Udon fresh in front of your face, you can no longer this type of soup.
Overall I gave it 4 stars because the sushi was very good. However this is Arizona after all so don't expect too much for other types of food. lol.
