  • Came by here last Thursday afternoon with my husband. We really should have came by at night so that we could better see the Christmas lights in the cactus garden though (oh well, just had to imagine what it would look like if it was dark). This was our 1st time coming by here and I thought the cactus garden was very nice and actually bigger than I thought it would be. There was also a place for where you could take photos with Santa (well not during the day when we came though). After we walked through the cactus garden, we walked into the M&M Factory store and then to the entrance of the self guided Ethel M factory tour. You can read the signs to see what each of the major steps of the production line of making some of their notably chocolate delectables. It is always fun to see something like this. At the end of this short tour, you get to try a piece of chocolate (your choice of dark, milk or white). Then through the exit you find yourself in the Ethel M store. All of the chocolate items here are really expensive and really just kind of overly priced if you ask me. Overall, I think it's nice to come by here just to check out the factory once (and to get your free piece of chocolate). But the real pull to come here really should be their cactus garden. They do decorate it accordingly for the season or a specific holiday. I would love to come back again, but at night time in December the next time I am visiting the area.
